Karkala : Shri DR Raju, a senior Congress leader, State Vice-President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Backward Class Unit, President of Karkala Billava Sangh, who actively engaged himself in religious, educational and social fields, passed away due to heart attack today.
He always cooperated in the activities of building a friendly society and believed that harmony and humane values are very important for the progress of the society.
Large number of Congress leaders pays condolences to sudden death of D R Raju. Ramesh Kanchan, City Congress Committee president said that D R Raju’s passing away is a great loss to the Congress party and I pray for the soul of Mr. DR Raju and pray to God to give strength to his family members to bear the grief.
