Print Karkala : The excise department raided two houses very early in the morning around 4.15am at Bola village of Karkala taluk near here on Thursday, November 14 and seized 272 boxes of Goa liquor. The excise department meantime raided two houses, one in Abyanandka and other in Marimaruguttu in the same village.
The accused Prashanth Suvarna, resident of Adi Udupi and Avinash Malli of Abyanandka, Bola are absconding.
The excise department officials confiscated a total 2360.850 ltr of various brand liquor valued approximately Rs 15 lakhs. Further investigation is on.
