Trailer Launch of Kathe Mugididhe a Differently Made Kannada Movie in Dubai. Tickets Sold Out In Advance.

The new Kannada movie "Kathe Mugidhidhe," featuring the tagline "Aarambada Munna," is set for release in Dubai. The trailer was launched on October 25th at Winny’s Restaurant Banquet Hall, Karama, with notable attendees including Walter Nandalike, Editor in Chief of Daijiworld Media, and various community leaders such as James Mendonca (Mangalore Konkans President), Shashidhar Nagarajappa (Karnataka Sangha President), Sudarshan Hegde (Amchegele Friends President), and actor-director Pradeep Barboza Paladka. The film promises a unique narrative, showcasing the talent of professional artists.

Sugandhraj Bekal, President of Maghadeepa Sanskratika Samithi, along with Rajesh Kuthar from Gammath Kalavider, Sanghun Mughdana Group and members of a TikTok group, were welcomed at the event. Many dignitaries from various groups and associations were in attendance and were honored with flowers, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the trailer launch for "Kathe Mugidhidhe." The event showcased a strong sense of community support for the film and its creative team.

Shodhan Prasad of Sandhya Creations Overseas Movies, the distributor of "Kathe Mugidhidhe," warmly welcomed the guests on stage with flower bouquets. After a one-minute prayer, the traditional lamp was lit to inaugurate the program. Shodhan then provided an overview of the movie and invited Director Pradeep Barboza to share more details about the film’s production and creative journey, setting the stage for an engaging discussion about this uniquely crafted Kannada film.

"Kathe Mugidhidhe" is set to make history by offering six shows in a single day for the first time. This unprecedented schedule reflects the film’s anticipated popularity and the enthusiasm of the audience, promising an exciting cinematic experience for viewers. The record-breaking showtimes highlight the movie’s unique appeal within the Kannada film landscape.

Walter Nandalike officially launched the trailer of "Kathe Mugidhidhe," highlighting its impressive digital production. During his speech, he extended best wishes to Dr. Frank Fernandes, Pradeep Barboza, and the entire team. He addressed the issue of stress, noting how both the entertainment and pharmaceutical industries profit from solutions to mental health challenges, while many individuals still struggle to find relief. Walter also discussed the filmmaking process and emphasized how Daijiworld Studio supports filmmakers with advanced digital sound and recording, underscoring the collaborative efforts within the industry. He made a special request to all Kannadigas in UAE should watch KATHE MUGHIDHIDE which is a very meaningful movie made for the current situation.

James Mendonca expressed his support for the film team and wished them success. Shashidhar Nagarajappa spoke about the importance of Kannada Pata Shale, highlighting it as one of the largest institutions teaching Kannada to Gulf Kannadiga children. He committed to maximizing ticket distribution for the movie through his team at Kannada Pata Shale and Karnataka Sangha Dubai. He affirmed his solidarity towards this Kannada movie. Sudarshan Hegde also shared his thoughts, emphasizing the need to support talented filmmakers like Pradeep Barboza, who create meaningful films for the current generation. He pledged his wholehearted support through Amchegele Friends, reinforcing the community’s dedication to promoting quality cinema.

"Kathe Mugidhidhe" is produced by Dr. Frank Fernandes under the banner of Ferns Movie International and directed by Pradeep Barboza Paladka, who also stars in the film. The cast features a lineup of talented artists, many of whom have previously worked on acclaimed Kannada and Tulu films. Their collective experience and dedication contribute to the movie’s high-quality production and engaging storytelling.

Following the trailer launch, the guests on stage officially launched the tickets for "Kathe Mugidhidhe." Shodhan Prasad announced the ticket prices and show timings, urging everyone to support the film by filling the shows. In a show of enthusiasm, James Mendonca immediately purchased a large number of tickets, followed closely by Sudarshan Hegde, who also made a significant contribution. The TikTok group and various Konkani groups confirmed their support as well, resulting in over 60% of the tickets being sold out on the spot. This strong community backing reflects the excitement surrounding the film.

"Kathe Mugidhidhe," the Kannada movie, is set to premiere in Dubai on November 17, 2024. It will feature six shows on its opening day, and ticket bookings have already begun, attracting a houseful audience. Due to the overwhelming interest, additional shows are being planned and will be announced soon. The excitement around the film’s release continues to grow, promising a vibrant cinematic experience for the community.

Based on a story by nowned Konkani writer Dolphy Cascia, with dialogues by Raghu Rattadyi and   supporting roles are played by Deepak Paladka, Violet Dsouza, Mellu Valencia, Ramairo and Stany Bela. Well known Child artists Aman Karkera , Ritwik , Devansh , Sanvy, Akshan each bringing unique and diverse characters to life in the movie Shodhan Prasad of Sandhya Creations Overseas Movies will be distributing the Movie in the entire gulf and other countries overseas.

Pradeep Barboza concluded the program with the vote of thanks, individually expressing his gratitude to all those Guest and well-wishers for acknowledging his efforts in entertainment and supporting him always.
