Udupi : We do not oppose the ‘Kaljiga’ cinema, but we do strongly oppose the some of the scenes in relate to Koragajja Daiva in the movie, said Sahana Kundar of Mangalore Tulunada Daivaradhane Sauraksana Vedike.
Addressing a press meet held at Udupi Press Club here on Monday, September 16, Sahana Kundar said that we would not target the actor, director or any other actors, technical issues and not even we didn’t criticize anyone nor the movie. However, we strongly appeal the removal of around ten minutes of scenes on Koragajja Daiva from the movie.
As per the members of public opinion, she says that the scenes of Daiva’s not necessary and also not needed in the movie. The Daiva Aradhane can be shown in other ways. Being a good director needs autonomy character. He can direct in any other way. There was not need to dress in fancy way. There is special way to have Daivaradhane in Tulunadu. She appeals the people that there should not work to be done against the Daivaradhane of Tulunadu system.
