Brahmavar : District School Education Department office, Brahmavar Zone and Nirmala English Medium School, Brahmavar organized district level Hand Ball Tournament on Friday, September 13 for primary and High School division boys and girls at Nirmala English Medium School grounds.
Yashpal Suvarna, local MLA inaugurated the tournament and in his inaugural address Yashpal Suvarna said that winning and losing is important in sports. Participate in tournaments and see the opposing team as friends. The students came from different schools to instill a sense of harmony among all of you in sports.
The program was presided over by Rev Fr. Vincent Robart Crasta, chief guests Mr. Ganapathi K Deputy Director School Education Department Udupi, Mr. Chandrasekhara Shetty, Ms. Padmavathi Mr. Vijayakumar Shetty, Mr. Prasanna Kumar Shetty, Joint Secretaries of Nirmala English Medium School Rev Fr. John Fernandes, School Head Mistress Sr. Canuka were present on the dais.
Smt Archana welcomed the gathering and Smt Irene proposed vote of thanks while Kavitha compared the programme.
