ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION WITH USIBC MEMBERS - SPEECH OF HON’BLE CHIEF MINISTER OF KARNATAKA

Honourable Guests, Distinguished Colleagues, 

and Visionary Leaders,

1. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the                 US-India Business Council and all its esteemed members for this engaging and insightful session. 

2. The discussions we’ve had today are a testament to the strong and dynamic partnership that exists between Karnataka and the United States. Today, as we sit at this roundtable, we are not just discussing business opportunities; we are crafting the blueprint for a future that is more interconnected and prosperous than ever before.

3. Bengaluru, as you may well know, is not just the capital of Karnataka but also the Silicon Valley of India.                   This city has been at the forefront of India’s technological revolution and continues to be a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and cutting-edge research and development. 

4. Our commitment to fostering a robust ecosystem for business is unwavering, and we are constantly working towards creating an environment that is conducive to growth and success.

5. Karnataka is a land of diverse resources, ranging from a skilled workforce to natural wealth and from a thriving start-up culture to a strong manufacturing base. We are home to some of the world’s leading IT firms, biotechnology enterprises, and start-ups. Our policies are designed to support innovation, ease of doing business, and sustainable development.

6. To our friends from the United States, I say this: Karnataka is open for business. We welcome you to explore the great opportunities our state has to offer. Whether it’s in the field of information technology, biotechnology, aerospace, or any other sector, we are ready to collaborate and co-create solutions that can address global challenges.

7. Our Government is deeply committed to fostering an environment that nurtures innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth. Our state is a land of immense opportunities, and we are dedicated to leveraging these to build a brighter future for our people and for the global community.

8. I am confident that the collaborations and connections forged here will lead to mutually beneficial outcomes and further deepen the bonds of friendship and business between Karnataka and the United States.

9. I look forward to the continued partnership and to welcoming you all to Karnataka, where we can turn today’s dialogues into tomorrow’s successes.
