Udupi: Catholic Credit Co-operative Society Ltd’s Hoode- Kemmannu branch inaugurated at Kemmannu.

Udupi : The fifth branch of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Society Ltd, branch opened at Hoode-Kemmannu, Castalino building on Saturday, 31^st August, 2024.

The branch office was inaugurated by Yashpal Suvarna, local MLA and computerized office was inaugurated by B. Jayakar Shetty Indrali, President of Udupi district Cooperative Union while safety room was inaugurated by Prasadraj Kanchan, Entrepreneur. Parish Priest of St Theresa Little Flower Church Rev Fr. Philip Nery Aranha blessed the branch office and holds the prayers. Smt Kusuma, President of Kemmannu Grama Panchayat released the deposit letters to depositors.

Followed by the stage programme was held at Kemmannu Church Hall which Ln Louis Lobo President of Udupi Catholic Credit Cooperative Society Ltd presided over the programme. The chief guests Yashpal Suvarna MLA, Rev Fr. Philip Nerry Aranha, Parish Priest, B Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Prasad Raj Kanchan, Entrepreneur, Dr. Mohd. Rafiq, Director of Beach Healing Home, Hoode, Smt Kusuma, Smt. Sukanya, Cooperatives Assistant Officer, Veronica Cornelio local leader and social activist, Romeo Castalino Branch office building owner and Thomas D’Souza Kemmannu Church Parish pastoral council vice president, James D’Souza Vice President of UCCCSL and CEO Sandeep A Fernandes were present on the dais.

The programme began with invocation prayer. During the occasion MLA Yashpal Suvarna and B Jayakar Shetty were felicitated for their outstanding contribution to the society. Meanwhile three achievers Dr. Naheema Akthar, Shivshankar Gujjarbettu and Reginald Furtado were felicitated for their outstanding achievements.

Earlier, Sandeep Fernandes gave key note address on the society. Louis Lobo welcomed the gathering. Yashpal Suvarna, B Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Dr Mohd Rafiq, Prasad Raj Kanchan and others were spoke during the occasion. Fr Philip Nery Aranha blessed the occasion.

James D’Souza delivered vote of thanks while Michael D’Souza compered the programme. The programme was winded up with fellowship meal to all the participants.
