Print Udupi : Udupi District Kapu Assembly Constituency’s Padubidre Paniyur Railway Station has no access to Mangalore Kurla (Bombay) Matthvagandha railway station and the public is facing hardship. Hundreds of people traveling from Bombay from nearby villages like Hejamadi, Ermalu, Tenka, Belapu, Shirva, Mudarangadi and Karkala, including Padubidre village, are struggling to get off at remote Mulki and Udupi Indrali and go to their own hometowns as there is no Mathsangandha railway stop at Padubidre Maniyur railway station.
Therefore, the Minister of State for Railways, who is on Udupi district tour, has requested to take appropriate action to allow Mangalore-Kurla (Bombay) Mathsangandha railway stop at Padubidre Paniyur railway station under the jurisdiction of Kapu Assembly Constituency. Somanna met him and pleaded.
