Manipal, 01 August 2024– The Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Manipal, is pleased to announce the inauguration of its Premium Evening Dental Clinic. The clinic was officially inaugurated by Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh VSM (Retd), Vice Chancellor of MAHE Manipal, marking a significant enhancement in accessible dental care for the local community. During the inauguration ceremony, Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh highlighted the importance of this new facility, stating, "This is a much-awaited facility for the general public. With the Premium Evening Dental Clinics, access to quality dental care is now easier for working professionals, students, and others who can visit the hospital outside of regular working hours."

Dr Sharath Kumar Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, also expressed his enthusiasm, noting that the Premium Evening Dental Clinics will operate on all working days from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, providing extended hours of service. "During these hours, dental doctors will be available for consultation, catering to the healthcare needs of the community," Dr Sharath Rao added.

All types of dental treatments and procedures including Oral Health Screening and Care, Pediatric Dental Care, Root Canal Treatment, Crowns, Bridges and Veneers, Dental Extraction and  Surgical treatment, Implantology Treatment, Orthodontic Brackets and Aligners, Aesthetic Dentistry will be done  in the evening clinic.

Dr. Monica C. Solomon, Dean of the Manipal College of Dental Sciences gave an introductory speech and gave a brief overview of the evening clinic..  The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr Anand Venugopal, COO of Teaching Hospitals at MAHE, Manipal,  Dr Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, and Senior Dental consultants.
