Udupi : Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur Family Commission and Catholic Sabha unit observed ‘Grand Parents Day’ on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
Very Rev Monsignor Ferdinand Gonsalves presided over the brief programme at Cathedral Portico after the 8 am Eucharistic Celebrations.
Senior member of Catholic Sabha Leena Fernandes and Owin Rodigues spoke on their role as grand -parent in their respective family.
Very Rev Mngr Ferdinand Gonsalves gave his presiding address with beautiful phrases on grand-parent. He said the grand parents being the part of grand children’s lives and hope your much cherished support will be there always guiding your grandees. The grand parents bring the best out of the children of their most beloved children.
Rev Fr. Pradeep Cardoza, Asst. parish priest, Melwyn Sequiera Vice President and Eugene Rebello, Secretary of parish pastoral council, Reginald Lewis Convener of Family Commission and Prema Lewis, Coordinator of Parish Pastoral Commissions were present on the dais.
Prema Lewis welcomed and compared the brief programme while Reginald Lewis proposed vote of thanks.
