Citizens Committee withdraws protest : Road repair work at Brahmagiri, Udupi starts

Udupi : The protest organized by Udupi District Civic Committee convener Nithyananda Ulakadu demanding the repair of the road from Brahmagiri to Ajjarakad district hospital was canceled after the municipal council expressed its promise.
Municipal Commissioner Rayappa immediately arranged for temporary patching work. With the promise of re-asphalting after the end of the rainy season, the villagers called off the protest. The immediate response of the Municipal Commissioner was appreciated in the public sector.
The road was asphalted during the summer. Potholes fell on the roads due to poor quality of work. There was a situation where vehicles could not move. The road had become an accident zone. The media shed light on the poor condition of the roads.
CMC commissioner Rayappa supervised the temporary work of road.
