Print Brahmavara: The government has agreed to restart the two-year agricultural diploma course at Brahmavara in Udupi district from 2024-25. Agriculture Minister N. Chaluvarayaswamy issued an approved order on this. Under Secretary to Government of M, Department of Agriculture (Services) has issued an order.
Secretary to Government, Department of Agriculture has written a letter in this regard to the Chancellor, Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agriculture and Horticulture Sciences, Iruvakki, Shimoga-577 204. In this order, as per the decision of the 33rd Coordination Committee and the 7th Expert Committee meeting, Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Brahmavara, Udupi District, under Shimoga, 2 years Diploma (Agriculture) course will be re-established as Agricultural Diploma College from the year 2024-25 using the currently available building, infrastructure and teaching staff, to start and given the administrative approval of the Government subject to the condition that no additional grant proposal is submitted to the government in this regard. He said that I am directed to request them to take appropriate action in accordance with this clause.
