Udupi : Under the leadership of Udupi Block Congress Committee President Ramesh Kanchan, in relate to Mangalore North Legislative Constituency MLA Dr Bharath Shetty’s public incitement to violence, a complaint was made to Arun K District Superintendent of Police and Puneet, Sub-inspector of Udupi City Police Station on today, July 11.
On the pretext of protesting against the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, he said that he had to use weapons and called for someone to go inside the Lok Sabha and hit the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi on the forehead.
It is a serious allegation that MLA Dr. Bharat Shetty violated national security norms and instigated the attack on Rahul Gandhi.
Dr. Bharat Shetty and Mangalore South MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, who spoke in support t their public speeches against Rahul Gandhi, requested to take action under the Criminal Act.
Congress party leaders Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, Jyoti Hebbar, Ganesh Nergi, Suresh Shetty Bannanje, Surendra Acharya, Ananth Naik, Krishna Hebbar, Sarath Shetty, Sukanya Pujari, Satish Kodavuru, Satish Kumar Manchi, Sairaj Kidiyur and Sanjay Acharya were present on this occasion.
