Byndur (Udupi): Politics is not the property of anyone’s household. This is not stagnant water. Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Minister of Women and Child Development Department said that the party should not be daunted by the defeat and organize the party and good days will come ahead.
Accepting the honor at the workers’ meeting held at the Byndur Block Congress office on Saturday, the minister said that once upon a time Mangalore and Udupi districts were the stronghold of the Congress party. Now the Congress is in a difficult situation. There are flaws in our party. First they have to be right. Elections are not conducted with good deeds, good name is of no use in elections. She said that Truth will win one day.
Congress was in a shambles in UP. Now six MPs have been elected in UP. Last time Modi won with a lead of 4.50 lakh votes, this time he won by just 1.45 lakh. Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that this means that the Congress is becoming stronger in the country.
If former MLA Gopal Pujari had won last time, he would have become a minister. Let’s all reorganize. Move forward with courage. Let’s prepare for the next election now, I will walk under the guidance of Gopal Pujari. She called to bring the Congress party back to power in the constituency.
