Print As a prelude to big events, today, Milagres College organised ‘Annual Prize Distribution Day’.
Milagres College Kallianpur today, 28th June, 2023, at 3.00 pm witnessed an important day by distributing prizes of academic, Sports, literary, co-curricular and proficiency prizes for achieving students.
Dr Vincent Alva, the Principal along with Prof. Sophia Dias, Dr Surekha Bhat, Dr Jayaram Shettigar and Prof. Shylet Mathias joined him in giving away the prizes to various achievers and winners in various competitions – cultural, sports and games, Milaverse 2.0, educational and extracurricular fields.
Speaking from the chair of the president of the program Dr Vincent Alva applauded the efforts of the students in achieving various prizes without forgetting the academics, thus brought laurels to the college. He had a word of praise to see active involvement and participation by almost all students, in one event or the other.
Once Almighty Lords blessings were invoked with a prayer hymn, Dr Jayaram Shettigar IQAC Coordinator welcomed the gathering and gave a brief introduction for the program.
Dr Harinakshi and Mr Karthik Nayak, the Students Welfare Officers read out the names of various prizes and trophies. Mr Vivek Nayak, a student from final B.Com B compered the program and also proposed vote of thanks.
College will have a hectic and eventful weekend with ‘College Day’ scheduled on Friday 30th June and ‘Traditional Day’ on 1st July, 2023, with many events and cultural programmes on the cards, in the Milagres Tri-centenary Auditorium.
The well organised programme comes to an end with national Anthem.
