International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking At Shirva St Mary’s College

Shirva: St Mary’s shirva NCC unit of the college in association with 21 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Udupi jointly organized the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26 June 2023
 
Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, President and principal of the college, said  In today’s world the youth are getting attracted to dangerous drugs and this leads to life sentence. Also he administered the oath, adviced the youth to take a part in creating the awareness of the hazardous of drug in society.
He appreciated the NCC unit of the college for organizing such a good program also conveyed best wishes.

Mr Prakasha Rovers scout leader,Lance Corporal Anish Bhat,  and cadets were present in this programme. Cadet Anup Nayak and Vishal Terence Vaz assisted.  welcomed by Adhitya H Shettigar and Gauthami V karkera  proposed vote of thanks

ಶಿರ್ವ: ಸಂತ ಮೇರಿ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಶಿರ್ವ ಇದರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಭೂ-ಯುವಸೇನಾದಳದ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಘಟಕ ಮತ್ತು 21 ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬೆಟಾಲಿಯನ್ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಾದಕ ವ್ಯಸನ- ಅಕ್ರಮ ಸಾಗಾಟ ವಿರೋಧಿ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು
   
ಇಂದಿನ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರು ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳತ್ತ ಆಕರ್ಷಿತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ! ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐವನ್ ಮೋನಿಸ್ ರವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾದಕ ವ್ಯಸನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಘಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ   ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್,  ಲ್ಲ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್  ಕಾರ್ಪೊರಲ್   ಅನೀಶ್ ಭಟ್,   ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್ ಹೇಮಾಶ್ರೀ ಸುದರ್ಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು  ಕೆಡೆಟ್ಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕ್ಯಾಡೆಟ್ಗಳಾದ ಅನುಪ್ ನಾಯಕ  ಹಾಗೂ  ವಿಶಾಲ್ ಟೆರೆನ್ಸ್ ವಾಜ್ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.   ಕೆಡೆಟ್ ಆದಿತ್ಯ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್  ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ,  ಕೆಡೆಟ್   ಗೌತಮಿ ಕರ್ಕೇರ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್ ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
