Udupi : The state government has not implemented the promises of five guarantee cards given to the people during the assembly elections by the Congress party even after one week of coming into existence. The district BJP condemns the false promises of Congress party to the people during the election campaign.

Speaking during the press meet held  today at district BJP office at Kadiyali, Kuilaidy Suresh Kumar said that during the election campaign, all the leaders of Congress party including Kharge, Siddaramiah, D K Shivakumar and others told to the people that five guarantees will be implemented from first cabinet meeting of the new government. Now, one week has passed, no guarantees have been implemented. The BJP will condemn the promise of five guarantees not yet implemented and go street against the Congress government. We will not agree to say that conditions apply for the implementation of five guarantees,  he said.

He said that all the five guarantees should be implemented without any conditions. There is no need to pay electricity bills. No need to pay bus fare by the women in government buses. If the bus conductor asks the bus fare, we tell people to call the BJP workers and not pay any bus fare, he said.

Kulaidy Suresh Nayak said that from May 1, all BJP women workers go to every house to give awareness that not to pay the electric bills, not to pay bus charges in government buses and Yuva Morcha workers will go in every houses to see the stipend of Rs. 3000 given to unemployed degree youths and Rs.1500 to diploma holders unemployed youths.

Prior to banning RSS, Bajarang Dal organizations, Congress should think about their power to ban. It was not possible to ban these organizations during the earlier Congress rule. He warned Priyank Kharge, Congress minister about his statement against the Hindus and Hindu organizations.

To a query, Suresh Nayak said that those who indulged in anti-party activities during the assembly election, action will be taken by the BJP party. In regard to former Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty who did not support the BJP candidate during the election, the report has been asked from the concerned party workers from the local bodies of BJP and that report will be given to BJP state leadership.

District BJP spokesperson Raghavendra Kini, District BJP office Secretary Sathyanand Nayak, District co-spokesperson Ambalpady Shivakumar, District Media Convener Srinidhi Hegde Heerebettu and others were present during the press meet.
