Udupi: Hijab Row must come to an end - Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti

The Issue of Wearing HIJAB  at Our Undivided Dakshina  Kannada Educational Institutes must come to an END for the total Communal Harmony. According to the statement released to the press, the Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti requested all concerned to amicably resolve the Hijab issue at the earliest.

Contents of the Press Release:

1. Our Samiti  as NGO has worked for the Development of Undivided Dakshina Kannada with utmost Dedication  and Honesty pertaining to Infrastructure Development and Industrilisation of Undivided Dakshina Kannada.

2. It has been observed that there is a major controversy on wearing a HIJAB (SCRAF) in schools and colleges in undivided Dakshina Kannada ( Mangalore & Udupi) by the muslim  Students.

3. Each  and everybody are part and parcel of this Great India who are citizens of this country  and we should respect one and all.

4. Christian Community has started the English medium / Convent Schools in India 180 years ago and this has contributed slowly to the Growth and Development of India.

5. In our own Mangalore St. Aloysius school and college started 140 years ago and these  Christian  Schools always maintained the Rules of Uniform which is same for all irrespective of caste, creed and Religion.

6. Nowadays in the most part of our country, schools and few colleges are having uniform Dress code which is accepted and Respected by one & all.

7. In view of the above example our student brothers and sisters should strictly follow rules of schools/ colleges , uniform Dress code where they are studying irrespective of caste, creed and Religion for the total communal harmony in our twin districts.

8. The  issue of wearing the HIJAB in educational institute  has become total communal and political and this HIJAB  issues of undivided Dakshina Kannada has reached  all over Indian Media and International Media.

9. Our Samiti earnestly request the concerned people to resolve this HIJAB issues amicably with Positive note and bury this issue permanently for the peace and prosperity of our Undivided Dakshina Kannada District.
