Print In the wake of Banks like PMC Bank closing and frauds, public loosing money due to closure...Signature campaign is done by retirees at various stations today on Monday, 13th January 2020 at Ghatkopar station, it was earlier done at others stations to
like Dombivli etc.
All India Bank Retirees Federation (AIBRF) is on war path across the nation .
AIBRF has undertaken an organisational programme for following demands to be considered by DFS & Finance Ministry & IBA .
1: Increase in Rate of Interest on the deposits of senior citizens , who are largely dependent upon the interest income for their means of livelihood .
2: Increase the Insurance cover on Bank Deposits of all , from present limit of Rs 1 Lac to Rs 10 Lacs
3: Revise the pension of all Bank Retirees on the lines of RBI retirees pension. Pension of Bank Retirees is not revised since 1995
4: Waive the GST on Mediclaim policies of Senior citizens which is at absolutely unbearable level of 28%
5: Revise very poor Family pension of widows from meagre paltry amount of 15% to 30% on the lines of Govt & RBI pensioners
Our agitational programme consists of obtaining 10 Lacs signatures of citizens of India on above demands from 1000 centres from 120 cities in India & to submit the same to Prime Minister /Finance Minister & IBA (Indian Banks Assn )
