Nithyananda Olakadu stages protest in unique way in Manipal against bad road in Manipal

Print Manipal : The protest staged in a unique way by rolling with half naked at Tigar Circle, Manipal junction on Friday, 16th September against the poor construction of road which is very bad due to the rain in the reason.
The protest led by Nithyananda Olakadu, Social Worker and Secretary of Udupi Senior Citizen’s Committee by way of rolling without the shirt upto near about 150 meters on the road and carrying man with ventilation system.
Nithyananda Olakadu had protested last month by swimming in the dirty water on the road which badly affected due to large number of potholes on the road. With effect of that protest, the department had filled the pits and temporarily repaired. But after the decrease of rainfall, the road becomes heavy dusty after vehicles movement. Since last year the condition of the main road in Manipal become worst during the rainy season due to negligence of National Authority of India.
