But the response of the government in regard to farm loan waive quite negative one. The decision of the Union government to waive the loan borrowed from national banks also negative. The previous government was established agriculture budget but without any solution for the farmers. The minister said that the government’s decision to waive the farm loan will benefit more than 22 lakh farmers of the state which the government initially assured to waive only 50% of the loan. The previous government’s budgetary allocation spent for agriculture sector not crossed 77%. But the budget expenditure of the congress government in 2016/17 has been 111%. Siddaramaih government set aside budgetary allocation for agriculture sector was Rs. 4,700 crore and previous government kept allocation only Rs. 1,800 crore.

He said that the government is promoting farming with complete mechanization of farming. Indeed the farmers will help lot to practice the mechanized farming which will support the idea of 30% less investments.

The Siddaramiaha government had spent Rs 127 crore on the purchase of agriculture farm tools in his first year. Now in fourth year the government kept aside Rs. 455 crore which is increased 410%. When compared to previous BJP government. The previous BJP government had separate agriculture budget when hike only 27% in the budgetary allocation. The previous government betrayed the farmers heavy but not done anything much favorable to the farmers. Now Union government of BJP doing similarly that no farm waives from the nationalized banks in the country which Union government not to do.

There are 400 Raitha Samparka Kendras building in the state. When in previous government only few were state building and some were functioning in private buildings. But now there are 745 Raitha Samparka Kendras are functioning in government buildings and 400 Raitha Samparka kendras to be established at the earliest. The proposal to establish of Agriculture Universities at Ankola, Brahmavar, Gangavati, Tumkur and Ballari. Among them the first choice to start Agriculture University in Brahmavar, he said.

He said the tarpaulins were made available for the farmers during BJP government was priced Rs. 2,800, but the present Congress government made available for the farmers at the cost of only Rs. 1,700.

He there are lot of instances of government in favour of farmers in the state which is enough that the present congress government surely in favor of farmers. There would be no compromise to support farmers in many ways from the government which the opposition looking for granted to criticism.
