Udupi : Including city and urban places in every house the activities of Yoga do need to practice every day, saod Dinakar Babu, President of Zilla Panchayat.

After inaugurating the Yoga programme on district level observation of World Yoga Day held at District Indoor Stadium, Ajjarkad here on Wednesday, 21^st June, 2017 which organized by district administration, Zilla Panchayat, Ayush Department, Bangaluru, District Ayush department, Udupi, Youth Empowerment and Sports department, Dr. G. Shankar Women’s First Grade College and S.D.M. Educational Society.

In his inaugural address Dinakar Babu said that in city places, lot of people practicing Yoga, but need to awareness in villages places about the Yoga. Yoga is essential for maintaining good health and sound mind. Every person in every day should practice Yoga, so that people will understand the advantages about the Yoga practice.

Sheela K. Shetty Vice President of Zilla Panchayat said that due to Yoga practice daily, one can get peace of mind and good health. Yoga is an ancient Indian practice and our ancestors practiced Yoga and cured many diseases and health disorders.

Additional District Commissioner Anuradha said that Yoga has the history. Due to Yoga practice one can cure various diseases and keep away the diseases also.

Nalini Pradeep Rao President of Udupi Taluk panchayat, Shilpa Suvarna Zilla Panchayat member, Dr. G. Shankar Women’s College Principal Dr. Jagadish Rao, Sports and Youth Empowerment Department Assistant Director Roshan Kumar Shetty, Udupi Yoga and Natural Treatment Centre Director Dr. Mohammed Rafiq, Parkala Yoga and Natural Treatment Centre chief medical officer Dr. Shivaraj Patil and other among were present.

District official Dr. Alkanand Rao welcomed the gatherings. Dr. Pooja proposed vote of thanks and Sunder Gangolli compered the programme.
