Print Udupi : Udupi District Farmers’ Association ( Udupi Zilla Krashika Sangha) will organize Farmers’ Convention – 2017 on Sunday, 26th February, 2017 at Sri Sharada Mantap, Kunjibettu, here.
Addressing to media persons at Hotel udupi Residency Hotel here, Ramakrishna Sharma Bantakal President of Udupi district Krishika Sangha on press meet said that the convention will held from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on Sunday and around 5000 people will participate in the convention, farming awareness seminar and exhibition which will be inaugurated by Dr. Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alvas Organization, Moodubidri. Na Karanth Peraje, Co-editor of Adige paper will give the key note address.
During the occasion Ramachandra Bhat, K. Manjunath Nayak, Wilfred Mendonca, Bharathi Shetty and Shanker Poojary Kenja will be felicitated. There will be three interaction programmes to be held during the convention by famous agriculturists.
During the convention information and awareness on profitable farming will be given by agriculture scientists, researchers. Modern technological farming machines’, farming related articles and papers, different categories seeds and plants will be going for sale.
The information on various loan facilities by the government will be given by ZP CEO Priyanka Mary Francis in afternoon programme.
Srinivas Bhat Kudi Secretary, Srinivas Ballal, Mallampalli Vice President, Dinesh Shetty Herga Vice President, Pandurang Nayak Hiriyadka Treaurer, Ravindra Poojary Gujjarbettu Secretary were present during the press meet.
