Dubai, Feb 15: Veteran Mangalurean entrepreneur, film producer and philanthropist Frank Fernandes owned Mosaco Shipping Company has been awarded with Dubai government promoted 9th E-Service Excellence Award (ESEA).

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Trade, the single window for cross-border trade and a DP World company, has commended the winners of the 9th E-Services Excellence Award (ESEA) ceremony held recently in Dubai.

The annual award event is organized by Dubai Trade to recognize customers who use its smart services appreciating their contribution in promoting smart transformation in trade and logistics in Dubai.

The Award ceremony was held at Atlantis Palm Jumeirah - Dubai, and was attended by H E Abdulla Al Saleh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry, H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, Ali Ibrahim Mohammad, Deputy Director General of Department of Economy in Dubai, Eng. Mahmood Al Bastaki, CEO of Dubai Trade, business leaders, government officials, representatives from the financial sector, shipping and logistics, and the media who consider it one of the main indicators of
Dubai’s transformation into a smart economy.

The 9th ESEA awarded winners for 3 different award categories as following:

1. Dubai Trade Smart Services Award

2. Dubai Trade Innovation Award

3. Dubai Exports Exporter Award

H E Al Saleh and Al Bastaki honoured the winners of the 9th ESEA in recognition of their excellences. Mosaco Shipping and Forwarding LLC won the award for Smart Services Award for Payment Services, as runner-up.

The ceremony was attended by high profile leaders from Dubai’s business community such as senior management and key decision makers from:
