Xmas and New Year was Celebrated with a Day out with Special children of Sulabha Special School at world’s one of Biggest  Outlet - McDonalds, Chembur (W) on 19th December, 2016, by Ln  Mala Shetty of Lions club of Sunshine Platinum & Lioness club of Vasant Vihar,  Mala has been celebrating Christmas with these special children since 2006.

Special children from Sulabha Special School,  Chembur had a gala of a time at McDonalds with members also McDonalds Staff who wait for this occasion as McDonalds too attends to them serving with food they serve as a part of Christmas day celebrations.

TV & Film producer and director Ms Swapna Waghmare Joshi, who also directed many films in Marathi & Hindi also directed Television shows, on star plus, sony and  color channels also has done some Marathi serials on Star Pravah etc. graced the event .Since many years she gives gifts for these children, as she waits every year to meet them. She also buys the products made by these special children, as she feels it can be used as well as given as gifts to friends as people should know that these children have their own talent and quality to make such products. Her new Marathi Film FUGAY starring Actors Swwapnil Joshi. Subodh Bhave. Prarthana Behere. Neetha Shetty, will be releasing soon.

She feels a SPECIAL connection with these SPECIAL children, whether it is special school, or special kids of her colleagues or friends. She says  one special child, who expired recently was a daughter of Ms Krishna Bannerji, director of many hindi films, would connect with Swapna immensely, used to feel very close. Satej, an autistic boy, always welcomes her with a smile. One relative of television director Harsha, a special child from Junagadh would always talk to Swapna on phone enquiring about actors who are working in her unit/show, will ask about their wellbeing and request that he would like to talk to one of the actors. When any actor, obliges & talk to the boy, for the request made by Ms Swapna, the boy in Junagadh would feel very excited, tell everybody that he speaks to actors often.
