Print Milagres College, Kallianpur Holds NSS Camp Valedictory Ceremony
The valedictory ceremony of the National Service Scheme (NSS) camp of Milagres College, Kallianpur was held in a meaningful and dignified manner, marking the successful conclusion of the camp. Presiding over the programme, the Principal of Milagres College, Dr. Vincent Alva, in his presidential address, expressed that by strictly adhering to all the rules and discipline of the NSS camp, volunteers move forward on the path of personality development. He emphasized that these values should be imbibed and practiced throughout their future student life, thereby upholding the true spirit and objectives of the NSS.
The Headmistress of the host school, Mrs. Kusuma B., congratulated the organizing institution for successfully conducting the annual special camp and appreciated the efforts of the NSS Programme Officers and volunteers. She expressed her happiness while commending the various activities undertaken during the camp, such as gardening work, preparation of compost pits, and other cleanliness drives, which significantly contributed to the cleanliness and development of the school premises.
Retired Professor Dr. Jayaram Shettigar, who was present as a distinguished guest, lauded the dedicated and selfless services rendered by the NSS volunteers to the school and the local community and appreciated their sense of social responsibility. The President of Nammoora Geleyaara Balaga, Mr. Vitthal Nayak, who played an important role in the developmental activities of the school, attended the programme as the chief guest and extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the NSS volunteers for their committed service.
The programme was also attended by the former President of Nammoora Geleyaara Balaga, Mr. Umesh Nayak; NSS Programme Officers Mr. Ganesh Nayak and Mrs. Shubhalatha; Head of the BCA Department, Mrs. Sushma; student leaders; and members of the school teaching staff, whose presence made the valedictory ceremony a memorable and successful conclusion to the NSS camp.
