Print ಉಡುಪಿ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 09 :ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಘಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಗರದ ಅಜ್ಜರಕಾಡು ರೆಡ್ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ರೆಡ್ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಡಾ. ಗಣನಾಥ ಎಕ್ಕಾರು, ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರಿಗೆ ಸರಕಾರದಿಂದ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ತಾಲೂಕು ವಿವಿದ್ದೋದ್ದೇಶ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ರಾವ್ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನೋಡಲ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜಯಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪಿ.&ಓ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಜೆನಿಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
