The South Zone Inter-University Tennis Tournament (Women) 2024-25 commenced with great enthusiasm at KMC,Marena and MIT, Tennies Court.Teams from leading universities showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship on the first day of the competition
Match Highlights
. Bharathidasan University triumphed over the University of Calicut with a convincing 2-0 victory. The team displayed excellent coordination and strategic play, setting a high standard for the tournament.
•Koneru LEF University emerged victorious against Kakatiya University with a clean 2-0 win. KLEF’s players exhibited outstanding skill and determination, securing their place in the next round.•
The University of Kerala defeated Rajiv Gandhi University by 2-0 in a thrilling encounter. The Kerala team demonstrated remarkable composure and technique, earning a well-deserved win.
The tournament continues tomorrow with more exciting matches scheduled, as the participating teams battle for the coveted title.
