Print Annual trekking expedition by NSS unit of Milagres College, Kallianpur
The NSS unit of Milagres College, Kallianpur, organized its annual trekking expedition to the historic Kavaledurga Fort on September 22, 2024. A total of 63 enthusiastic volunteers, accompanied by two faculty members, embarked on this adventure, led by Mr. Ganesh Nayak and Mrs. Shubhalatha, NSS officers.
Notably, Dr. Vincent Alva, Principal of the college, actively participated in the trek, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among students. The trek provided an opportunity for the volunteers to develop their physical endurance, teamwork, and leadership skills while exploring the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Kavaledurga Fort.
Following the trek, the team visited the revered Rashtrakavi Kuvempu House, paying tribute to the renowned Kannada poet and writer. This visit aimed to instill a sense of cultural appreciation and literary awareness among the participants.

I am also one who participated in that truckking. Its really wonderful Momment we enjoyed a lot and one mine thing our nss officer was friendly it is the mine reson why we enjoyed a lot totally its beautiful journey with my friends and personally i enjoyed a lot.  Agree[0]
