Kanara Catholic Association Bandra the office bearers were elected unopposed

Mumbai (RBI), Sept.20: It’s after a very long time that KCA Mumbai has not had elections which has been a result of trust and confidence the members have had with the existing young and experienced team.

The trustees who were elected unopposed are Mr Sunil Lobo (President), Mr Adrian Vaz (Sr. Vice President), Mr Sanjay Rego (Secretary), Mr Boris Buthello(Treasurer).

Mrs Priscilla Buthello, KCA Member and Vice – Chairman of Citizen Co-operative Bank complimented the President Sunil Lobo and his team of keeping the KCA alive and lively during the AGM.

The KCA Managing Council team has been organizing various activities such as “Meet & Greet” for singles, Entrepreneur Conclave, Get togethers, Sports besides providing support to the needy for their education & medical requirements. KCA Mumbai also comes out with a quarterly Amchi Khobar which is the much awaited newsletter and well read amongst members and friends.

Recently, KCA had organized the Monti Fest celebration which was started with a Mass by Fr Daniel with the homily in Konkani, flower procession to the Grotto followed by Novem Jevon on a banana leaf with different varieties of vegetables as per our tradition.

Mr Sunil Lobo the current President of KCA in his second term, is the grandson of Late Mr A.L. Sequeria from Belthangady. He is a Banker by Profession and currently Head’s the Corporate Banking business for Doha Bank in India. He is also the President of Bombay YMCA and trustees of Schools in Mumbai and Panchgani.
