As the nation celebrate ‘Teachers Day’ today, 5th September, 2024, NHPS Hanehalli made it a point to have it in a different way, each child brought fresh home grown flowers, some pencil, few pens, erasers etc as gifts to their teachers. Everything planned, prepared and presented by these small kids and Class VII students leading them from behind. Surprisingly neither Head Master nor other teachers have any clue of what is next?
There were speeches about Dr S Radhakrishnan and St Mother Teresa, whose birthdays celebrated today, garlanding and offering petals of flowers, songs, dances, distribution of sweets etc. followed by fun games and prizes.
Emotions and hype was so high as HM Mr Udaya Shetty rose to express his happiness and contentment. Though the children were too small to understand and organise programmes without the involvement and guidance of their teachers but today on their own made every effort to please, thank and honour their teachers today.
P. Archibald Furtado, the Administrator Coordinator, who was present on this occasion, conveyed teachers days greetings to all the teachers and thanked the children for their great imitative and reverence to their respective teachers, whose love, care and sacrifice well appreciated this day by arranging something very special.
