Prof. P.L Dharma Honoured as Best PR Person of the Year 2024

Mumbai (RBI), July 16 : In a simple celebration of World PR Day, the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Mangaluru Chapter honored Mangalore University Vice Chancellor, Prof. P.L Dharma, as the Best PR Person of the Year 2024. Prof. Dharma was recognized for his exceptional communication skills, earning him great respect and admiration in the field.

The event was graced by National Joint Secretary Dr. Raghavendra Holla, PRCI Mangaluru Chapter Chairman Canute Pinto, Media Coordinator Varun Prabhu, and Member and Tourism Enthusiast Yathish Baikampady, Mangalore University Financial Officer Dr. Sangappa Y.

This recognition highlights the significant contributions of Prof. Dharma to the field of public relations and his dedication to effective communication within the academic and public spheres. The celebration underscored the importance of skilled communication in today’s world and set a benchmark for PR professionals.

ಮುಂಬಯಿ, (ಆರ್‍ಬಿಐ),ಜು.19: ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮಂಡಳಿ (ಪಿಆರ್‍ಸಿಐ) ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪಿಆರ್ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಉಪಕುಲಪತಿ ಪೆÇ್ರ| ಪಿ.ಎಲ್ ಧರ್ಮ ಅವರ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಸಂವಹನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ `ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ರಿಲೇಶನ್ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ’ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಡಾ| ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಹೊಳ್ಳ, ಪಿಆರ್‍ಸಿಐ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್‍ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕ್ಯಾನುಟ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ವರುಣ್ ಪ್ರಭು, ಸದಸ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿ ಯತೀಶ್ ಬೈಕಂಪಾಡಿ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ| ವೈ.ಸಂಗಪ್ಪ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅನುಪಮ ಸೇವೆ, ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿತು.

ಈ ಮನ್ನಣೆಯು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪೆÇ್ರ| ಧರ್ಮ ಅವರ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಸಂವಹನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದಿತು. ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಇಂದಿನ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನುರಿತ ಸಂವಹನದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಆರ್ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಿಗೆ ಮಾನದಂಡವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಾ| ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಹೊಳ್ಳ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.
