Medicinal saplings distributed at Muniya Institute, Manipal.

On the eve of Gurupoornima and Vanamahotsava  Sapthaha, Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Manipal has organized free Medicinal Plants distribution Camp at its premises for the Public of Udupi District on 24.07.2021 Saturday.

More than 3000 medicinal plant saplings of 17 types of various utilities such as immune boosters like Amrutha, Goosberry, Lakshmitaru, edible fruits like Guava, Kokum and Amla. General Medicinal Plants like Bilwa, Wild Almond , Tamarind, Teakwood,  Honge and Shrubs and creepers like long pepper, Black pepper and Cissus are distributed to more than 300 citizens. Meanwhile enough precautions were observed due to ongoing Covid – 19 pandemic, said the press release of the Institution.

ವರ್ಷಂಪ್ರತಿಯಂತೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಕೂಡ ಮುನಿಯಾಲ್ ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಮಣಿಪಾಲ ಇವರಿಂದ ಗುರುಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಗಿಡಗಳ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು 24.07.2021 ರಂದು ಶನಿವಾರ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ವಿವಿಧ ಜಾತಿಯ ರೋಗನಿರೋಧಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಅಮೃತ , ನೆಲ್ಲಿಕಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀತರು, ಹಣ್ಣುಹಂಪಲುಗಳಾದ ಪೇರಳೆ, ನೆಲ್ಲಿ, ಪುನರ್ಪುಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧೀಯ ಗಿಡಮರಗಳಾದ ಬಿಲ್ವ, ಹೊಂಗೆ , ನೇರಳೆ, ಅಂಟುವಾಳ, ಅಶೋಕ, ರೆಂಜೆ, ಕಾಡುಬಾದಾಮಿ, ತೇಗ, ಹುಣಸೆ, ಸಂಧುಬೀಳು, ಹಿಪ್ಪಲಿ, ಕಾಳುಮೆಣಸು ಮುಂತಾದ 17 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿವಿಧ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಸುಮಾರು 3000ಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು 300 ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗದ ಕಾರಣ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
