The launch of book -“Drashta Lokneta Motiram Bhave” on death anniversary of veteran fishermen’s leader Motiram Bhave

The release of book -“Drashta Lokneta Motiram Bhave” at the hands of Transport and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anil Parab

Mumbai: A grand function was organised on the occasion of death anniversary of veteran fishermen’s leader and former corporator late Motiram Bhave at Childrens Welfare Centre High School (CWCHS), Versova, Andheri by the school principal Ajay Kaul. In the function Motiram Bhave’s biography in Marathi titled “Drashta Lokneta Motiram Bhave” was released at the hands of Transport and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anil Parab.

MLC Rameshdada Patil, BJP MLA Dr Bharati Lavekar, MLC Kapil Patil, Corporators-Pratimatai Khopde, Ranjanatai Patil, Yogiraj Dabhadkar, former Corporator Shailesh Phanse,  Maharashtra Navnirman Sena General Secretary Shalinitai Thackeray, late Motiram Bhave’s sons- Nandkumar Bhave and Pankaj Bhave, Kiran Koli, Altaf Khan, CWCHS Principal Ajay Kaul, CWCHS Activity Chairman Prashant Kashid attended the function and graced the occasion.

Late Motiram Bhave worked selflessly and dedicated himself for the welfare of fishermen spread over Madh, Versova, Yari Road, Seven Bungalows, Veera Desai and other areas. Especially he worked himself and also joined hands with other parties when it was a question of fishermen’s well being.

The presence of the people from different parties and walks of life at the book launch ceremony itself proved that late Bhave dedicated his life for the well being of the public and concentrated only on his work.

The book -“Drashta Lokneta Motiram Bhave” has been compiled, written and edited by Nandkumar Bhave and Mahadev Male.
