Mangalore: The Cloistered Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery, Kankanady, celebrated the Annual Feast of St Mary of Jesus Crucified (MariumBaouardy)on 23/08/2015.The main celebrant of the  holy Eucharistic celebration was Rev Fr.DennisMorasPrabhu, Vicar General Dioscese , Mangalore,RevFr Charles SerraoOCD, Provincial of Goa Karnataka Province , along with Rev Fr. Pius James D’souza OCD,Rev Fr Joseph Martis ,Rector ,St Josephs Seminary ,Rev FrSanthosh Kamath  Rev FrPatric Rodrigues FMCI Director ,Rev Fr Felix Monteiro,RevFr Rudolf D’sa ,Rev Fr John D’souza, Rev FrServin and Rev Fr Joseph (Betharam Fathers),and few other priests .              .

The sermon was preached by Rev FrAndrew D’souza  ParishPriest,Bondel. He gave a call to lead a life of obeidience and humility, as taught by St Mary Baouardy. He also highlighted the works of the holy spirit  in the life of each of us when called upon .

 The  DVD of the play THE HIDDEN TREASURE (RAHASYA NIDHI), Directed by Corrine Rasquinha (White Doves) and written by  BannuFernandes, produced by DaivikAmrith media based on the life of St.MaryBouardy was released by Rev. Fr. Charles SerraoOCD (Provincial of Goa Karnataka Province) , along with Rev Fr. Pius James Dsouza OCD, Mr. J.R Lobo(MLA ), Rev FrAndrew D’souza( Parish Priest,Bondel).

Rev Fr.PrakashD’Cunha-OCD, thanked the banefactors and  gathering on behalf of the Cloistered Sisters.Numerous devotees participated in the celebration and honoured the Saint .
