Print Power to Lead-Building Change Agents in our World
On 21st March, 2015, 27 participants of Batch 009 successfully completed Power to Lead (PTL) - A values-based leadership programme and were awarded certificates by the Chief Guest of the evening, His Lordship Bishop Savio Fernandes. The programme started with a beautiful prayer service and a pledge to be change agents in the world. Participants came with their friends and families for an evening of inspiration and to receive the outward sign of their year long journey of training for leadership- the PTL certificate.
His Lordship Bishop Savio expressed immense joy over the great work that the Power to Lead movement was involved in. He was very happy the Christ was at the center of the programme and that the programme emphasized Biblical values to be lived out in the world along with practical leadership skills.
Dr. Ruth D’Souza, the Director of PTL, reminded the participants that while their journey in the classroom had come to an end, their journey as real world leaders had just begun. In his address, Dr. Raja B. Smarta, the Chairman of Power to Lead encouraged the participants to be faithful to their dream and to their personal mission which they discovered during the course of their Power to Lead journey.
The program ended with a variety entertainment program and fellowship.
