AAI revises parking fee at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) from Nov 15

MANGALURU: Parking your vehicles at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) of Airports Authority of India (AAI) is set to pinch your wallets a trifle more starting this Saturday. The AAI has revised the rates effective that day for a host of vehicles. The revised rates (with existing rates in bracket) are as follows: coach/bus/trucks Rs 70 (Rs 50); tempo/suv/minibus: Rs 60 (Rs 45); car Rs 55 (Rs 40); and two-wheeler Rs 15 (Rs 10).

Acting airport director T F Moosa said while no parking fee will be charged for first seven minutes for above vehicles, the revised rates are applicable as mentioned for the first two hours or part thereof. If coaches, bus, trucks, tempos, SUVs, mini buses and cars are parked on the airport premises at Kenjar near here for more than two hours, an additional Rs 10 will be charged. This fee is Rs 5 in case of motorcycles.
