Mangalore, Nov 2: 92.7 BIG fm-Mangalore joins  ’Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’  along  with ‘ Panchamukhi baLaga Urva’ and  cleans up the Urwa Marigudi Temple surrounding on 2nd November,2014.

‘Cleaning up the country cannot be the sole responsibility of sweepers. Do citizens have no role in this? We have to change this mindset.’- PM Narendra Modhi.

In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, 92.7BIGFM-Mangalore joined hands  with ‘Panchamukhi Balaga Urwa’  had condcuted Swach Bharath Abhiyan at Urwa Marigudi Temple surrounding and cleaned up the area. More than 100 localites joined for this event.

The event was inaugurated at 7am on 2nd November. Mr Manohar Boloor managing trustee at  Maariyamma temple urva, Chandrashekar devadiga polali - district Rajyothsava award winner 2014, Amithakala tharanath - Ex - Vice mayor of Mangalore Cit Munciple corporation , Radio Jockey and executive producer Rj Varsha from 92.7 BIGfm, Ramachandra Shetty - president Hindu seva samithi and sarvajanika ganeshothsava samithi  Urva, Mr.Radhakrishna, the social worker and others were  present on this occasion.

Panchamukhi balaga Urwa took the pledge of conducting Swacha Bharath Abhiyan on the 3rd Sunday of everymonth.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr.Manohar Boloor,the Managing trusty at Mariyamma Temple Urwa said- ‘I am extreamley happy to see the support from the public for this event today. I would like to thank each and everyone for taking the time from their busy schedule and joining hands for this event’

Rj Varsha from BIGFM said-  Its our duty to keep our city cleen. If every individual own up this, soon we can make our city clean and green. She also said Team BIGfm will also join with Panchamukhi Balaga Urwa on the 3rd Sunday of everymonth for Swach Bharath abhiyan.
