Musical fest in Mangalore from November 24

Print The Sangeetha Parishath in association with Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan and Mangalore University will organise music festival at the Ravindra Kalabhavan here between November 24 and 28, said Parishath Secretary Manjunath Bhat.
He told reporters that the inaugural function will be followed by vocal concert by R K Srikantan, Bangalore and his son Prof Ramakanth. Shenkottai Hari-harasubramaniam would present a vocal concert at 6 pm and Archana G Upadhyaya, Manipal would render a vocal concert at 4.30 pm on November 25. There will be concert by Usha H of Manipal at 4.30 pm and Manda Sudharani from Vishakpattanam at 6 pm on November 26.
Srikrishna Mohan and Ramkumar Mohan will render vocal concert at 6 pm on November 27.
On November 28, Abhsihek Raghuram from Chennai would render vocal concert in the morning while Suchithra Holla from Puttur will present vocal concert at 2 pm. Madhurai T N S Krishna would render vocal concert at 6 pm. Sangeetha Parishath Honourary President Prof K M Kaveriappa, Karnataka Bank Managing Director P Jayaram Bhat will be the guests at the valedictory programme.
Senior Mridanga artist K Harishchandran of Mangalore will be felicitated on the occasion. Priyanka K P and Shreevibhu will be conferred ‘Young Talent Award’.
