Usha International partners with Mumbai Indians for 12th consecutive year
Mumbai, March 20, 2025: Usha International, India’s leading consumer durables brand, has renewed its partnership with five-time men’s champions, the Mumbai Indians cricket team, marking their 12th consecutive year of collaboration. This partnership aligns seamlessly with Mumbai Indians’ “Play Like Mumbai” capturing Mumbai’s cricketing soul and integrating it with Usha’s commitment to fostering an active and healthy lifestyle.
The much-anticipated 2025 cricket season commences on March 22nd at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, and Mumbai Indians play their first game on March 23rd in MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. As part of the partnership, the ‘Usha’ logo will be prominently featured on the caps and helmets of all Mumbai Indians players, ensuring high visibility throughout the tournament. Additionally, the ‘Usha Play’ branding will be displayed on perimeter boards and digital screens during matches, further strengthening engagement with cricket fans.
Commenting on the continued association, Komal Mehra, Head – Sports Initiatives & Associations, Usha International, said: “Our partnership with Mumbai Indians has only strengthened over time having been built on shared values of excellence, endurance, and a passion for sport. We look forward to some thrilling cricket and deeper engagement with fans.”
A Mumbai Indians spokesperson added, “Usha International has been an integral part of our journey for over a decade, and we are delighted to continue this partnership. Their commitment to Mumbai Indians and to build a strong narrative over the years on sports, fitness, and well-being resonates deeply with our team’s philosophy. As we gear up for another action-packed season, we look forward to strengthening this partnership and creating cherished moments and memories for our fans.”
Mumbai Indians are led by Hardik Pandya, and supported by a strong lineup that includes Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Trent Boult, and Jasprit Bumrah, amongst others.
