Cancer patients often loose their moral and suffer from a complete mental break-down, due to the burden of multiple treatments, homesickness, expenses and social isolation. Our Idea is to make 40 such patient’s day special, by making them feel like a superstar and taking them around the maximum city, giving them more reasons to fight their battle. Helping us in this en-devour are college students and corporate house employees, who shall cheer, take autographs, sing slogans, present greeting cards and gifts to the brave fighters.

Event Flow:

1) Bus Ride (2:00pm to 6:00pm)

Bus shall pick the patients from Dr. Mhaskar Hospital and Dr.Tilak Hospital to take them to 9 beauty spots of Mumbai:

- Gateway of India

- Marine drive

- Hanging garden

- Kamala Nehru park

- Boot house

- Mahalaxmi temple

- Haji ali dargah

- Siddhivinayak temple

- Juhu beach

2) Sand Art  (4:00pm to 5:30pm)

A sand art will be created at Juhu beach for general masses throughout the day along with awareness via leaflet distribution. A signature drive shall also be conducted in order to engage the on-lookers. Apart from receiving the patients with flowers, placards and encouraging slogans; The college students shall also be taking autographs and selfies during the patient-student interaction time.

3) Kite Lanterns (7:00pm to 8:00pm)

In honor of the brave cancer patients and to spread the light against cancer, lanterns shall be lit and released by them at Dr Mhaskar Hospital, Lower Parel.
