Udupi : As many as 13 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no death reported in Udupi district on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Total discharges today are 20 and active cases decreased to 83.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 13 covid positive cases, 12 cases reported as symptomatic which are 9 male and 3 are female, meanwhile out of 1 cases of asymptomatic  1 is  male and 0 are female. 

Among 13 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 5, from Kundapura 1, Karkala taluk is 5 and from other districts are 2. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 5 and at Home Isolation are 8.

Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 11.10.2021 are 1711 and total tested on second wave till 11.10.2021 is 800803. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1169044. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 12.10.2021 during second wave are 20 and total discharges on second wave are 52549.  Total discharges in the district are 75970.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Tuesday on 12.10.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 284.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 474

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 52916. Total positives in the district are increased to 76527.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Tuesday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 359 and cumulative total 439482, second dose 2887 cumulative second dose 140432, above 45 years Ist dose are 160 and cumulative total  433508, IInd dose 3071 and cumulative total 271556, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23570 and IInd dose 0, cumulative total is 22755, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8080 and IInd dose 0 and cumulative total  is 6478. Total today Ist dose are 519 which cumulative total is 904640, IInd dose 5958, Cumulative total 441221.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 12.10.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 12.10.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 12.10.2021 is 6, other districts is 0, Till today 12.10.2021 is 42. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 12.10.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 53. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 1.
