Udupi : The lowest number of 6 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no death reported in Udupi district on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Total discharges today are 68 and active cases reduced to 205.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 6 covid positive cases, 6  cases reported as symptomatic which are 5 male and 1 is female, meanwhile out of 0 cases of asymptomatic  0 are  male and 0 are female. 

Among 39 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 25, from Kundapura 5, Karkala taluk is 9 and from other districts are nil. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 3 and at Home Isolation are 3. Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 28.09.2021 are 2890 and total tested on second wave till 28.09.2021 is 758782. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1129907. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 29.09.2021 during second wave are 68 and total discharges on second wave are 52122.  Total discharges in the district are 75543.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Wednesday on 29.09.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 284.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 474

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 52611. Total positives in the district are increased to 76222.

No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 29.09.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 53. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 1.
