Udupi : As many as 73 new positive cases for COVID-19 and one 51 year old female from Udupi taluk succumbed to death on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Total discharges today 274 and active cases reduced to 751
According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 73 covid positive cases, 34 cases reported as symptomatic which are 15 male and 19 are female, meanwhile out of 39 cases of asymptomatic 25 are male and 14 are female.
Among 84 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 40, from Kundapura 11, Karkala taluk is 22 and from other districts is none.
Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 21.09.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 21.09.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 21.09.2021 is 6, other districts is 1, Till today 21.09.2021 is 42. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 21.09.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 53. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 1.
