Print Udupi : As many as 63 new positive cases for COVID-19 and four deaths which two females from Udupi taluk aged both 77 years respectively and female aged 67 and male aged 76 years old from Karkala taluk reported in Udupi district on Monday, September 20.Total discharges today 355 and active cases reduced to 953.
According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 63 covid positive cases, 29 cases reported as symptomatic which are 15 male and 14 are female, meanwhile out of 34 cases of asymptomatic 16 are male and 18 are female.
Among 84 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 32, from Kundapura 13, Karkala taluk is 17 and from other districts is one.
Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 15 and at Home Isolation are 48.
Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 19.09.2021 are 4976 and total tested on second wave till 19.09.2021 is 727847. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1096088. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges on 20.09.2021 during second wave are 355 and total discharges on second wave are 50945. Total discharges in the district are 74366.
Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. Four deaths reported on second wave occurred today on Monday on 20.09.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 278. Total deaths in the district are increased to 468.
