As many as 149 new positive cases and no death reported  for COVID-19 second wave in Udupi district on Wednesday, June 30. Active cases are increased to 940.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among  149 covid positive cases, 77 cases reported as symptomatic which 41 are male and 36 are female, meanwhile out of 72 cases of asymptomatic, 32 are  male and 40 are female. 

Among 149 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 67, from Kundapura 52, Karkala taluk is 30 and from other districts is 0.

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 15 and at Home Isolation are 134. Total active cases today are 940.

 Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave on 29.06.2021 are 2380 and total tested on second wave till 29.06.2021 is 314995. Total first wave and second wave tested are 683236. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges on 29.06.2021 during second wave are 88 and total discharges on second wave are 41685.  Total discharges in the district are 65106.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190.  No death on second wave are occurred today on Wednesday, 30.06.2021. Till 30.06.2021 deaths in second wave are 203.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 393. Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 42828. Total positives in the district are increased to 66439.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Wednesday are 18 to 44 years first dose 4472 and cumulative total 111350, second dose 106, cumulative second dose 520, above 45 years Ist dose are 669 and cumulative total 275035, IInd dose 855 and cumulative total 90120, for HCW’s Ist dose 2 and cumulative total is 23479 and IInd dose 3, cumulative total is 19436, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8346 and IInd dose 4 and cumulative total is 3830. Total today Ist dose are 5143 which cumulative total is 417812 and for IInd dose are 964 people and cumulative total is 113906.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till on 30.06.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 4, In Karkalla 0, Till 30.06.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till 30.06.2021 is 6, other districts is 1, Till 30.06.2021 is 20. No death occurred today for black fungus. Two deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till 30.06.2021. A total discharge on today is 1. Total discharges till 30.06.2021 is 25. Total cases in the district are 30. Total active cases are 3.
