In Practice it is impossible to establish any factory unit Udupi. I tried to establish a factory. I visited the various departments of DC office. Not a single soul is aware of any schemes. I Noticed all Govt employees are busy on Mobile Phones. They don’t have time, nor any knowledge about industry establishment. At Karnataka Industrial development office at Shivally-Manipal, the Dy Director was helpless. He told me I cannot help you. Only I can issue recommendation letter which may help as a attachment document for securing Municipal license. What ever the above article states is not a workable solution, to establish any industry in Karnataka that too Udupi is Impossible. Basically the Government machinery is not functioning. I visited the Village Panchayat Office to pay my TAX. I had to come back without payment TAX due to unavailability of receipt books with the Panchayat office. They told me to come after two months, as they ordered the books. On the other hand the Banks in Udupi, They are extremely scared to open their doors for business. If any businessman approach them to business loan They will ask his previous 4 generations unwanted documents.This meet is of no use.

Kudos to organisers.. each one might have enjoyed every moment.
