Just as the harvesting machines, grass cutting Lawn Movers can be of help, provided the sidewalks are well flat and free of large stones or pot holes.

If each property owner along the roadside cleans his/her pavement/sidewalk, and plants wild flower plants, the entire area will look like Garden of Eden. More flowers for Monthi Festh and for daily pooja in temples or churches.

If the grass is cut once a month the Elephant grass will not grow eight feet.

The collected grass can be sold to cow or goat owners or offered to coconut trees as manure.

About sixty years ago, I used to trim (using a sickle) the grass along the paddy field bunds (There were no roads) not just for my own cow but I used sell to a neighbour Brahmin for half an Anna for one basket. Those were the Good Old Days,.....

Dear readers and people of kind heart, we a group of 6 members visited KMC on 11th to see Joseph Rebello. He broke down immediately after seeing us ,we could not comfort him to the entire extent as there were no words that could make him feel better as he an active person helping others involved in church service a hard worker with his routine bus driving job all at stake is crying on his bed like a child. Though his surgery is done and he waits for the recovery may God give him his life of youth and vitality back.
