Mangalorean Teen Feryl Rodrigues Shines as May Queen 1st Runner-Up at Indian Club Bahrain

Bahrain, May 23, 2025 – In a vibrant showcase of talent, poise, and multicultural elegance, Feryl Rodrigues, a 16-year-old student of Sacred Heart School, Bahrain, was crowned May Queen 1st Runner-Up at the prestigious annual pageant hosted by the Indian Club, Bahrain.

The highly anticipated event, held on Friday, May 23 at 8:30 p.m. in the club’s open-air premises, brought together 14 contestants of various nationalities. Participants competed across three rounds—casual wear, ethnic wear, and evening gown presentation—demonstrating their confidence, presentation skills, and grace. Feryl captivated both the audience and a panel of six distinguished judges, earning not only the
runner-up title but also the Best Walk Awarded.

Feryl’s distinct personality and commanding presence helped her rise to the top six finalists, where she impressed in the finale’s question-and-answer round with intelligence and composure.

Known for her friendly demeanor and natural leadership, Feryl is a dedicated student with a creative flair. Her stage experience includes numerous dance performances and a series of modeling accomplishments. She began her grooming journey at just four years old with

Feryl is the daughter of Wivian and Freeda Rodrigues of Gajane, Kemmannu/ Bahrain and the granddaughter of the late Louis and Nelly Rodrigues. Her success at the May Queen pageant adds another proud milestone to her already impressive portfolio and reflects the diverse and dynamic talent nurtured in Bahrain’s expatriate community.
