Milagres College, Kallianpur, Udupi FoodZilla - 2024 - The MCK Food Fest

Wednesday May 15, 2024: Learning things necessary to create  life out of education is a skill that is much required  in the present world said Dr Vincent Alva, the Principal in appreciating the creativity of students in putting up food fest in the college campus on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Br Shawn Andrade, an alumnus inaugurated the program. He expressed his joy for being a part of the program and congratulated the efforts and enthusiasm of the students.

Students teamed up to put up a live cooking experience in the college by using firewood. Varieties of food items were prepared and sold among the students and faculty

This is something unique and important to be learnt said Prof. Sophia Dias, the vice principal of the college. She was appreciating the efforts and enthusiasm of the students in making a mega show of culinary skills.

There was Biryani, masala papad, betel pan of various flavours, shawarma, varieties cold beverages including buttermilk and lussy. Varieties of salads, green leafy vegetable items, different  rice items and many more. A few continental items were a great attraction. Points were given for a reel made out of the food fest and the presentation.

Dr Harinakshi, Mrs Anupama Jogi, Mrs Radhika Patkar, Mr Karthik Nayak, Mrs Chandrika and Mrs Shylet Mathias supervised and guided the entire food fest.

Mr Ganesh Nayak, the convener of the Commerce Association thanked all responsible for the arrangements and students for their overwhelming response.
